The guides are general information
The guides and service pages explain rules and practices as they affect estate and letting agency websites. They are general information, written carefully from the sources listed on each page and checked on the date shown, but they are not legal, financial or professional advice and do not take account of your circumstances. Rules change, and official guidance can be updated after we check it. Before acting on anything that affects your legal obligations, check the current official sources and, where needed, take advice from a suitably qualified person or your professional body.
The project planner
Everything you type into the project planner stays on your device; nothing is transmitted to us or to anyone else unless you decide to send the finished brief. The brief it produces is a starting point for planning, not a quote or a commitment by either side.
Concepts and imagery
The website concepts on this site show fictional agencies. The house and interior images are concept artwork, not real properties and not client work. Nothing on the site should be read as a claim about results achieved for any agency.
Intellectual property
The text, design, code and images on this site belong to Estatovio or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own business use, and quote short passages with a link back to the page. Please do not copy guides or other content wholesale onto another website. Fonts are used under the SIL Open Font License, and the mail library used by the contact form is used under its open source licence.
Links to other websites
We link to legislation, government guidance and other sources so that every claim can be checked. External sites are outside our control, and we cannot answer for their content or for changes made after our last check.
Availability
Keeping the site online and correct is our intention, though uninterrupted availability and freedom from errors cannot be promised. Content may be changed or withdrawn without notice.
Liability
Where the law permits, Estatovio accepts no liability for loss caused by using or relying on the information here, the guides included. Nothing in these terms restricts any liability the law does not allow to be restricted, including for fraud or for death or personal injury resulting from negligence.
Law
English law governs these terms, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Residents of Scotland or Northern Ireland may also be able to bring a claim in their own courts.
